Sonic, Tails, Axel... Mickey and Donald in 'World of Illusion' the reason being that game deserves much more recognition for being such a great title (it takes far longer to complete the game than what the guy states in the S16 review). Even better than Castle if you ask me. Oh and sorry for going a bit off topic.
Polterguy, Ecco (technically, all dolphins are born gay, making Ecco the first "out" character- I respect that) ToeJam & Earl, James Pond, and Michael Jackson (well, Moonwalker was fun, even if the goal was helping a known pedophile to find young children)
Look I know this is off topic, but the only reason I came on here is for some help, and I cant post a new thread so I thought I would jst ask on here. Plleeeease someone help me.
Ive been playing Theme Park recently for nostalgias sake and am getting quite addicted now, but for some reason cant figure out how to build rollercoasters - it doesnt seem to let me connect them if i want to change direction. Its extreeeemely annoying, and I cant find any answers online. This forum is my last hope. Does anyone have the game or remember how to do it? Or can anyone direct me somewhere that will know the answer?
Sorry again for going off topic, I jst didnt know what else to do dagnammit!

As I recall, the rollercoaster starts off at its lowest possible height, and thus must end at that height as well, on the other side of the small piece that begins the 'coaster...decrease the height all the way, and connect to the other side of the piece where you started- if you somehow blocked off the other side, you'll have to remove the pieces obstructing the path, before connecting to the other side of the "hyphen bar"; which is my name for the lowest piece on the 'coaster, and the starting point for park visitors.Originally Posted by stu__
If I remember correctly, the rides can also get too long, so that you don't have enough pieces to connect back to the starting point; in that case, remove segments of the track and find a shorter path back to the main piece.
Other than that, all I can remember about Theme Park is that the 3DO version ran on a choppy framerate, and used FMV sequences to simulate the rides, while the Playstation version allowed you to genuinely walk around the park, and test the rides _as you designed it_, rather than just watching the same FMV every time you play, and had a much smoother framerate than 3DO, which would have framerate problems even when running the game at its slowest speed.
That, and how incredibly humorous it was when the rides would explode and the park visitors would come flying towards the screen (not to take away from the seriousness of real-life amusement park fatalities, which are usually the fault of some corporate bigwig trying to save a few dollars by not having the rides inspected)
Or, the game over screen- that being, your character taking the longest dive-out a freakin' window.
I also think Theme Park has a hidden message about polluting and not following proper waste disposal procedure (which is why the Handymen are always so busy...)
Theme Park was great in that it wasn't nearly as confusing as another popular Bullfrog title; "Syndicate"...
But still, hands down if I had to choose Theme Park or Theme Hospital, I'm goin' Theme Hospital all the way (Some of the kooky illnesses they came up with in that game- one made people turn into Chewbacca, another made them invisible...)
And, again, another game where the denizens of your establishment have absolutely no regard for basic public health safety, defecating on the floor and whatnot- I mean, it's a hospital, not a mental health facility.
Oh dear, I think I just took off-topic to a whole new level,
I went off-topic, in response to an off-topic post, with my Theme Hospital buttilogical warfare concerns and whatnot..

Again, another great game which gets a terrible review on the site, I've read that review and it's very harsh. The MegaDrive version is still very addicting with some cool music. Okay, back onto Favorite Video Game Characters now!
