I should also mention this news was also announced on SE's English Twitter so it looks like a western release is happening. No word on release date or if it will have a physical version. It's sounding like an HD port of the PSP game which was a remake of the SNES game.

    Life?!...What console is that on?

If I didn't already own both games on my PSP, I'd be interested but no after Grandia collection and maybe an HD Skies of Arcadia, I think I'm about done with remakes.

I did not know that the PSP version was an update of the SNES game. It’s one of the many PSP titles I’ve yet to get around to playing.
A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Yeah it was and it's actually very very nice on the PSP system. It's one of those Jrpgs worth owning if you're a PSP fan like me.
