I've ordered a handful of issues, as well as a couple of the RG Bookazines. Should be receiving them in a week or two.
It'll be my first experience with the Retro Gamer mag. Looking forward to reading them.

I just got the LucasArts issue last month. It was a great read.

No, it's unbiased analysis. The only fanboyism is people who claim that Hyperstone Heist and Bloodlines are actually as good as their SNES counterparts.

I picked up the lasted issue a few days back, nice feature on the Master System. Haven't read any of the other articles yet.

I picked up the Master System issue yesterday.

It's crazy seeing all of the games that the system got in the PAL territories.

A Black Falcon: no, computer games and video games are NOT the same thing. Video games are on consoles, computer games are on PC. The two kinds of games are different, and have significantly different design styles, distribution methods, and game genre selections. Computer gaming and console (video) gaming are NOT the same thing."

Yeah, I got some UK Sega magazines in early '90s and was surprised to see a bunch of SMS stuff we didn't get. With no internet access back then, I had to wait until emulation years later to play those, and then ebay to buy them. Most of those games are still quite cheap, too.
