How is it? I've got one ordered but don't have it in hand yet.

The first impression so far seem very promising.

Do you know if there is a way to stop credit feeding? Is there a setting to allow 3 or 4 credits and then game over?

I've also heard that Retro-bit USB joystick work with this. Has anyone tried out any alternate USB gamepads?

It's an awesome little product. Sorry I don't think there is anyway for stopping credit feed, but I can confirm to you that the Mega Drive mini USB pads work fine on the system. I used to have issued with emu on Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder, glad to say non such issues with the Astro City

Marvel Land is a little gem I remember getting on import and it was one of those early games that started to show off the power of the Mega Drive. Can't wait for lockdown to end and wear my SEGA hoody out.

But really made up with my Space Harrier Master system mug, brings back memories of Christmas 87 when I 1st had my Master System with Space Harrier , OutRun, AfterBurner and Wonderboy

Got the idea in my head to put a Genesis in an arcade cabinet. I started by buying the parts to make sure everything would work.

It's amazing how many small details creep up when doing a little project like this.

Yeah, it's a bit ghetto right now but it works really well and it's actually a lot of fun to use.






Also, picked up the Astro City Mini. Very cool having the arcade versions of many games I know well on the Genesis.

Are you referring to my DIY joystick or an older post that I missed?

Mine is actually a player 1 and player 2 control panel. It's a bit awkward to sit on your lap but eventual it will be mounted in a cabinet.

Since it is Christmas picked up a 2nd Mission stick to play the amazing Ep5 on Zwei with Twin Stick controls LOL

Its meant to be the ultimate set up for the Pazner fan. It a shame then the 2nd stick does nothing to the game at all. I think its just some mistake made on SEGA Retro
