Great documentary, thanks. Wish there was more stuff out there of this quality and about the Mega CD.

[Team Andromeda]

Its so sad to have seen the team make great use of the ASIC chip for the cloud on the title screen and the DA.Garden and also the PCM chip for the past sections, but not to make use of both for the bulk of the game.
The Bonus sections looked terrible next to Mode 7 and didn't even scale the UFO's, none of the bosses made use of the ASIC chip and sound effects were all off the Mega Drive.

This game really should have been a showcase for the Mega CD tech and not just its storage. It's pretty sad when Son Of Chuck on the Mega CD, makes better use, of the extra hardware in-game.


Still great game mind and for me the best 2D Sonic game, though Sonic Adv remains my fav Sonic title
