Alright, news about possible news! Let's keep acting like this is at all acceptable! I love being treated like crap! I bet they won't put off charging my credit card when the game comes out...

It's not much but....
I've recently been going through a bunch of Project Y songs and stuff and I found a pretty cool WIP myself and Trevin made but it was nowhere near ready to be used in game. So today I've worked on turning it into a full track chucked it in the completed songs folder. I've also made a few changes to one of the tracks called Acid Break, which originally had a very cool PSG solo. I decided to use a better instrument for that part and while I was it I extended the song by around 20 seconds by adding a couple of new patterns.
I've been keeping MP3 files of older versions of songs (including unused tracks) and the newer mixes so at some point I might be able to show you how Project Y's sound has evolved over the last few years.
@ Groovemaster : Was it the final modification ? Did Fonzie confirm you that all of the tracks you made Trevin & you will be in game ? Do you know if the team has already implemented tracks in BETA phase with success ?
I'm not sure if all the tracks will be included but I hope so. Last month I did send in a folder containing every single completed track and then yesterday I updated the folder with the new song and a few tweaks to existing songs. Right now for me at least, I'm happy with the soundtrack and the folder could be considered final.
Shhhhh! Don't try to be a drawback to the ass kissing party.
This is the kind of update that us, investors, would like to receive at a steady pace from the other members of the project.
Feels like it isn't so difficult to do it when you're an actual adult and you're confident about your work.
I don't need to know the exact track list of Project Y's soundtrack to have good expectations about it because you have shown enough IMO to make us confident about the final product in such aspect. Too bad I can't say the same about the rest of the game.
hI all, well I have some news for you. not new details exactly....but trust me when I say that what we have running will be some of the best graphics you will see coming out of a new game to ever surfaced on the Sega Genesis.
Weve had great progress and Im exited! So please keep your faith ; )
A few years ago we'd have had heart-attacks of joy just from someone mentioning a new MD game might even be a possibility, now we're just complaining a whole lot.

The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.
Then we set about developing killer games.

Thank you Louis! I'm still excited to see what WM has in store for us.
I get the impression that WM is trying very hard to make sure they don't over promise. Of course I'm just guessing but regardless I don't feel that they have mistreated us investors in any way.
WM, take the time you need and get it right!
By the way amazing collection you have there SegaDude...and your NEO GEO stuff is looking great too.
Can I join you for some gaming : )
In Pier Solar HD, WM in every mouth send us a nice e-mail with upate, news, iamges, vídeos and feedback. Thats great!

There's no excuse for WM's lack of transparency. It's just bad marketing. If you guys are too busy to generate emails updating investors regularly in regards to what they paid for, you're doing it wrong. Every single time you post here, you could post on the blog, and post something worthwhile. Even random screenshots, concept art, sprite work, animation tests, design notes, play test observations, music examples, background art, interviews with you, the music crew, etc. The list is endless. This whole thing is just WM knowing that we have no viable options in this marketplace, and that they'll get our money regardless of how terrible they are at interfacing with their customers.
Bomber Games with Streets of Rage Remake did this right. Updates, demos, blog posts, interviews, betas. AND the game is probably one of the best beat em ups ever made... I'd pay those cats multiple times over to put that game on every console.I own.
If WM just stopped making BS promises, and then making excuses on why they couldn't deliver on basic social media/PR stuff that smaller, less experienced teams seem to have no problem handling, maybe people would be less critical. Seriously, stop promising on shit you can't deliver, whether it be in-game stuff, or simple stuff like gameplay examples or concrete evidence that the game exists as something beyond doctored screenshots and vague gameplay ideas. As it is, this whole thing is a freaking joke, it's unfortunate for the investors that expected even the most basic level of respect for their investment dollars...
