For investors, there was a plop over on the project Y threads. Somebody asked if the investor copy was going to come in a clamshell versus cardboard. Fonzie replied that they might be doing something like that, but did not confirm it wouldn't be cardboard. If you are an investor in this project, I would very much advise speaking your mind on the topic. Here is the direct link to the thread: http://www.magicalgamefactory.com/en/boards/projecty-ab...

Pier Solar a rpg, Project Y a beat em up with rpg, what is Project N ? Will project N be the only SNES posthumous game (doesn't seem like it had anywhere near what MD did).

They made it sound like it's going to be announced or decided in the next couple of weeks so soon.

I honestly hate rpg's so i don't know what project n is. I'm pretty sure it's an rpg though. Project y is mainly a beat em up with some rpg elements involved. Project y started months before project n and project n has short game play released while project y does not. That tells me project y has more care put into it and they are taking their time to make it amazing, i hope anyway. Long live the genesis/mega drive.

Project N is not an RPG. It's an arcadey action adventure - more focused on action than puzzles.

Looks like WM really wants to do cardboard from the reply to all the posts. If you have an opinion, one way or the other, please post it soon.

Can you bring up why in the 5th re issue why they won't send updated audio cds ? Why keep pressing those outdated cds for Piers ? Also every MD game should be in a plastic case (clamshell).

The should just do shrink wrapped cardboard boxes wrapped in a plastic box insert that people can stick in a donor case if they want.

No idea. I'm sure you can start a thread over there though or ask them directly. They are quite responsive.

At the very least. They just posted over there that actually clamshells would be a cheaper option and that the subsequent copies would probably be in clams. With that said, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to choose if they are just going to end up doing both in the end.

I'm glad you guys are making this, thank you. I asked this before but didn't get an answer IDT, will it use Sega CD audio cd + Genesis cart sync or is all that unknown ?

Yea, I was going to tell you guys to wait and after WM sold off all the card board you could buy a second copy of your game in a plastic clamshell, just like Pier Solar. Honestly, I expected something like this to happen which is why I didn't get in on the preorder.

But the last time around it was the first copies that were clams and the reprints were cardboard. I just don't get it. I invested in 2 copies, but I wouldn't even bother opening a cardboard copy as it's just going to start the wear and bending of any flaps. I want a clamshell version so I can take it out and play immediately without it showing wear.
