Really? I asked about it and couldn't find it. I was also told the demo version is nothing like the retail version.

The later part is true. It's two or three years apart from the final version and looks and feels far more amateurish than the final game. It still gives you a gist of what you can expect as the basic concept remains the same.
The Mega Drive was far inferior to the NES in terms of diffusion rate and sales in the Japanese market, though there were ardent Sega users. But in the US and Europe, we knew Sega could challenge Nintendo. We aimed at dominating those markets, hiring experienced staff for our overseas department in Japan, and revitalising Sega of America and the ailing Virgin group in Europe.

Then we set about developing killer games.

How has Project Y made it to the 2nd page, while other projects that have gone out of production still be "stickied"?

    Anyways...

Awesome newsbit on behalf of Watermelon. Nice update with that voice acting. . 'Good to see things are moving along.

Will Project Y be as good as SOR or FF ? Can't wait to find out.

Also Zebbe can you please explain how you guys coded it so you can play CD audio WHILE playing P Solar MD cart. Because I want to play a Joe E song on Sega CD while playing SSF2 with cart volume down. Sort of like those Capcom SSF2THD promotional videos.

I'm sure there isn't yet any guarantees that more than one investor editions will be available per customer, though ' at least 1' will be. I'd like this cleared up if possible

I don't know, it was Fonz and some guy called Mask of Destiny who did it, I think. Might be tricky to implement on other games.

To the other guys: I don't know if you get multiple investor copies either. You can ask on the board.

Sega CD Mode 1 was used. You would have to reprogram Super Street Fighter 2 to access the CD-ROM drive. Or you can risk damaging your Genesis and Sega CD by starting a music CD and then slamming the SSF2 cart into the cartridge slot then hitting reset. I'm pretty sure this will eventually blow a fuse, but it also might take years and be easy to replace.

    Okay thanks for the answers.

(Was just hoping Chilly, Kitty, Stef, Fonz or somebody could simply add the extra code command line in ssf2 rom but I was answered that the game has to be rewritten, damn.)

You can get as many investor editions as you want, just invest 500 gems for each. Resellers rejoice.
