Makes sense. Rubber's probably cheaper than largely unused PCB area.
Yes, the signals have very little amperage behind them but they are 3.3 or 5v. Using 5v tolerant components is viable as long as they do not
communicate directly with the console, or are properly level shifted if they do. The lazy (and flawed) approach would be to filter each signal
with a resistor, something that WM has evidently been doing.
We should tone down this discussion because if Fonzie gets wind of this conversation it will be another reason to delay the production 6 more months. I can even hear the voice "Ho, an unexpected production issue invalidated all our boards. We're producing new ones and they'll be out in time for your perfect Valentine's day date".
Paprium is slowly slipping into 2019, with no updates. Say hi to Fonzie matt!

Ha! I don't want to inadvertently start the hype train by hinting too much at what I've read and seen. In fact that may actually be Fonz underlying agenda in sending it to me. Who knows he's clever at this stuff.
He has managed to keep a hell of a lot of information under wraps though and I kinda find it disappointing that he's not used any of it for PR purposes.
Lack of news aside my biggest concern is I've not had communication with a single tester, so I can only assume (and it's a big assumption) that 1) Testers are extremely water tight regarding their NDA. or 2) Testing hasn't started yet. or 3) he's not testing (doubtful)
Those that work closely with WM can be pretty water tight on discussions. So as with my previous posts: Let's just see if it drops in October.
Something tells me Stef is deeply involved in Paprium and he is one of "beta testers".
