10:25-10:26 the Alex sprite gets corrupted, shows tiles from the font set. Since this is happening with both sprites I am guessing there are either a ton of placeholder tiles leftover in ROM that were meant to be updated or a pointer is being set to the wrong address.

Look at Tug's feet near the end - more corrupted tiles! Fonzie responds by quickly turning off the game
If you look for the #Paprium hashtag on Twitter everyone is commenting on the corrupted sprites.
Also the account PapriumFiasco posted a screenshot of the first boss:

If I had to guess, I'd say its likely that the tea time video showed a demo that ran entirely on a PC. Obviously I don't know for sure, but that video never looked right to me.
But did his friends in leather show up? I really want to know what the hell all of that stuff about people in leather showing up at midnight was all about.
When you announce your game is ready to be shipped to your customers, i expect it to be true!! He throws a fucking party for a shitty buggy mess of an early pre alpha stage game, that wont be launching anytime soon. What a dick, i still cant believe i almost fell for his lies one more time
I actually think I was wrong in my earlier post, if it was just trying to grab the wrong tiles it would happen consistently, instead the sprites seem to corrupt at random even during their idle animation. A memory leak makes more sense as it seems to happen to both sprites if they stand there long enough.
Also did you notice there are no tiles at the top or bottom of the screen, giving it a pseudo widescreen effect? I can only guess this was done to free up VBLANK time or maybe VRAM, still not enough apparently.
Just a few of the glitches that I saw in the 20 min video. Other videos also showed these types of glitches.
aluminum conduct electricity
I'm not sure it's an artificial wide effect to limit screen. You can see a noise on the bottom black bar, so that looks more like the border being displayed due to how the PAL TV works. (those noises are those that happen when there's activity on CRAM so I think it's because the PAL TVs are capable of showing those more lines, while the MD is set to 224 lines (448 in practice).
By the way - I think this confirms the earlier videos with enemies were just mock-ups.
The Tea Time footage (now over three and a half years old) had tons of enemies on screen, no sprite tearing either!
There's no way that was a game running on real hardware.
Probably everything we have seen before this was running on a PC.
Had he just re-skinned SOR2, we'd be in a better situation right now. Literally the only thing looking right, is the SOR font he lifted... I mean, at least Water Margin is an actual game... That works...
