Wow, I can't login. What's happening?
Same here. I wrote this yesterday:
I can no longer log in WM's MGF website. Anyone having issues too?
[edit] I could reset my password. Other people say they face issues too.
Beware, this may be a hack. I noticed WM's certificate is no longer valid too!
And of course change your password everywhere you may have used the same as on WM (which was a bad idea! ;-))!
Save your orders info as PDF / print it / whatever!
Annnnd... I cannot log in again.
Tried to do that, restoring/changing password. I receive the email with the new password and a link to activate it. I click in the link and it states the new password has been activated, but when I try to login, I get a password error again.
Escape 2042 is a very nice game which I would probably have not bought had the rom been available illegally anywhere and yes I would probably dump it if I had the means to do it and the knowledge to crack its protection. I know 1 pirated game is not at all 1 sales lost (on the contrary sometimes it helps spread the word) but I'm guessing the games who have not their rom publicly available sell usually better than the ones who do not, that's all, because I think I'm not the only one who, for some games, just want to have it / play it by whatever means, but we obviously look first for the cheapest method as the are some many homebrews now...
I wasn't comparing both games quality, Escape is more an AA title whilst Tanglewood is more AAA to me (my only concern so far is the framerate, but it is the greatest release done in a long time anyway), I just wanted to point that it's cooler when devs decide to not battle piracy and release the rom themselves. I know they do sell the games on profit obviously, but my guess is the actual profit, once you take everything into account (+"salaries") is that it is not very much (for Tanglewood). What I'm saying concerning Escape 2042 and all those Cascade, Hangman SG (which as I said is more an A title to me) is that had the rom been available for free/pirated, their sales would be even slower that the actual figures.
Also Chinese do sell CIB repros for like 5-10 bucks. The quality is the lowest possible, though. I don't think anyone collecting would want them, but still, they sell like pancakes.
About NGdevteam: The French forum I linked says precisely that Fonzie is doing something similar to what they do to avoid bootleggers. Obviously he's not doing it right...

I see some guys are posting normally, so maybe not everyone is affected by this issue. It's still not working for me.
I can log back in! I get the impression some migration may have been going on.

Maybe a cleaning action from Fonzie with unexpected issues... I didn't have problem for posting on WM Factory.
Nobody gave us a sign or a clue of that. Beta testers were under NDA but any of them told us words about the reality of a QA Team.
No nicknames are filled within the Instruction manual concerning the QA Team. Same thing on the Paprium.com website.
The latest rumour is that a person could have been able to play a finalized version of Paprium (with ennemies) on a real Megadrive hardware before the famous French party. Obviously a French VIP in contact with Fonzie. Other people seems to know that person and trying to convince him to talk.

Same here, I can login now. Weird.
From an e-mail dispatched to us customers on Sept. 4, 2017:
Well, I just hope he didn't accidentally reach the alt-rights.Struggling and battling with our payment processor, Paypal... as they locked our funds after over 8 years of business !
[incoherent babbling]
No stone was left unturned in seeking to remedy the problem and we finally reached the rights people. We should receive our funds in about a month.
Of course after this e-mail, the issue was never ever again addressed by WM.
So, if Moustachio claims his Paypal funds are still blocked, then he obviously didn't reach the "rights" people back in fall 2017. Or, he's still lying. I mean, again. As always. Whatever.
Ugh screw it, let's hear Randy Rainbow on the "rights" matter:

Mmm didn't I saw a couple nicknames from this forum on some list at the time? Sorry can't remember where, maybe on this same thread... but maybe it was just people who applied to be beta testers who were not actually delivered anything to test? I think it was like a shortlist from all the candidates who applied.

Pyron has already posted a screenshot of a facebook post where they stated that the Paypal issue had been solved.
The Paypal thing was a lie from the start. If at any point they really blocked WM funds it was due to their fraudulent pre-order campaign which certainly caused at least a dozen of Paypal users claims due to them not delivering it. All the excuses they used for that were just bs; they knew the game wasn't ready and still sold the nonexistent product through Paypal.
Several years ago there was some sort of form or whatever that you could use to apply for beta testing IIRC.
But I challenge anyone saying that heard from someone that heard from a distant cousin that one day the game had been finished to show us some sort of proof.
I think it's all bullshit, wishful thinking or rumors created with some nasty intention.
It's very easy to prove that something exists these days. You just need to record it and upload on youtube.
There's no need for any of this secrecy bs.
Whatever rumor related to this game, assume it to be false.
Whenever WM states something, assume it's just a plain lie.
Whoever worked on this project, assume they didn't get paid.
