    Let's not ignore this factoid:

Paypal blocked WM's money back in 2017 because they were selling a non-existant item (Paprium).

Of course our kid Fonzie didn't learn anything about that and he's again taking money for a non-existant item.

We are lucky to have him because he has been honest with everyone and has only been burned from all sides.

What feels like a few months ago Luis (via facetime from his home) showed me Paprium playing on his Sega Genesis.

Not only does the game look very good it also looks fun. I was able to see about 30+ minutes of gameplay and not once did I see a crash or a bug of any kind.

Paprium looks very polished and runs well from what I've seen. And the publicly available screen shots we've all seen do look like a fair representation of what the game actually looks like.

I don't think Luis was supposed to show me Paprium but he trusted me. He knew I wouldn't talk if asked not to (I've spoken to him about talking now). He had been working hard to try and put everyone at ease while (mostly) working within Fonz's restrictions.

I believe he showed me Paprium to try and subtly get the word out to a few people so that our comments might be able to balance the tide of pent up anger. That's just a guess.

I suspect Joe from Game Sack might have been sitting on some info too. [Sup Joe?] And we all know Joe can do no wrong so Luis' trust was well placed.

I understand why many people got really upset. We all understand. But when you finally get Paprium in your hands take some time and think about apologizing to Luis. He got a lot of abuse that he didn't deserve but finally we will be able to see he was fully on our side.

What is the point of your message? You speak of Luis as if he was a child

Why didn't luis make a live stream showing footage instead of just showing it to a few people?

I totally get you. It reminds me of that silly "Bye bye haters. 🙏🙏" comment from Vetea. As if releasing the game now (assuming that is actually happening) nullified all the valid criticism and complaints people have had about WM and this project over the years.

Actually I think Megawire4 may also be for game UPDATES. Like bug fixes, etc. Way better than MEGAWIRE3 would do. We all remember that.

Fonzie and WM may be responsible for a lot of this negative crap, but sir, you alone are accountable for at least 20% of it all. 21% if you count this last post. The game being released or not doesn't change that either.

Since we got no gameplay trailer from WM, 'cause, as they state, "We only focus on the game!" , for whoever gets this first, please do an honest and reasonable review of the complete experience. I'm sure Game Sack and St1ka are up to the task and will deliver. It'll be very helpful for other people considering to pre-order it.

I mean, I'm still glad that I invested in it, but unfortunately it's very hard to trust your money to WM, so if people are willing to pay what's being asked, I think it's mandatory to first see what's in the package and evaluate whether it's worth such an amount of money or not. They might indeed deliver, but oh boy how long it takes!

No no, the Megawire is a garrote you use to strangle yourself while enjoying the game in order to get the full scarfing experience and alleviate the immense arousal you'll suffer from playing it otherwise unrelieved.

bumping the retail price without showing any footage in years surely does not seem the best business practice, to say the least. The guy doesn't want to spoil any more of the game but still wants a new pre-order campaign at double the cost of admission.

I will try, but it might take me a while ^^

Of course, first I need to get the game.

From $69 to $129 is quite a stretch, that without a doubt reflects on how lowly Fonzie thinks of his customers.

Who exactly owes him an apology, and for what?
I think the people involved with Paprium owe an apology to their customers for that train wreck of a launch party followed by two years of silence.
