Perhaps for you Paprium has bad gameplay, but not for me. Thus it is relevant.

    Yes, for real.

It did not impress me with anything. Especially after experiencing Capcom's AvP and Killer Instinct in 1994.

It's not bad but definitely average as hell and could improve a lot, especially in 9 years of development. Turtles in Time arcade has amazing presentation but it's still a bad game because the gameplay is garbage, the SNES port has worse presentation but it's a better game than the arcade because the gameplay was improved, it's as simple as that.

It is still better than SOR2 to me from playabality point of view. And I never cared about Turtles beat'em ups.

You just expected something different from it or too much.

Expected nothing, turned out to be an average beat 'em up, which is why I find funny that some people wank over it so much lol

Turned out to be a great beat'em up but not better than AvP. And I do not wank over it. Since 1994 no other game like this made me happy.

    I'll start with mine:

    ID: loempiavreter
    Paprium edition: Investor model
SEGA console model: MK-1631-50 (Megadrive Model II)
Issues: Gamecrashes throughout the game at random Spots
Situation: Unsolved (23-12-2020), contacted Watermelon Games with no response back (23-12-2020)
The only other guy that I saw reporting random freezes was also using a 50Hz system:
    https://twitter.com/_tapule/status/1341824843973574664

I think it can be related to the 50Hz timing, it's the only thing that makes sense in my mind.
If it was a faulty cartridge, you'd experience other audio/graphical glitches.
If it was a just a graphical or audio bug, you should be able to soft reset the game and I believe you aren't, right?
The cart's CPU likely entered an infinite loop IMO, that would explain why it doesn't respond to the soft reset signal anymore.

    Two tests I'd suggest:
    - Leave the game running the attract mode endlessly. See if it freezes after a while.
    - At the beginning of the first stage, pause the game and leave it there for a long while; a period long enough that for sure would lock it if you were playing it for that long. If my theory holds any water, you still should be able to unpause the game after hours.
If you're able to unpause it after this long period, IMO it would also reinforce the idea that your MD is working fine without any capacitor-related issues and also the cartridge hardware is not getting faulty over time of use.

It can be a software issue related to the refresh rate timings.
Most of the uploads I've seen on YT are running the game at 60Hz, despite being European gamers.
I'm not implying that the game will always freeze like that at 50Hz in any other Mega Drive, but it can be an issue specific to 50Hz.

And, of course, if you can, try a different Mega Drive model just to eliminate the possibility of the cartridge being faulty.

I got one of my 32X systems working. Turns out it was the ribbon cables, so now I have one that solidly works again. Bet my other one has a loosening cable, which is why it sort of works.

Anyway, I tested with two of the Model 1 systems (120070156 and 320079524), and they do boot with a 32X attached. It also worked with Gen+SegaCD+32X on the original VA6 system (120070156) I tested.

So my order is still showing as ‘15/12/2020 19:56 Las Vegas USA - Shipping...’

From what I read, ‘Shipping...’ doesn’t mean it’s actually gone anywhere until you get additional updates. Is this correct?

Anyone else with orders being fulfilled from USA still seeing this? I went for the Paprium Limited (U) option, so not sure if that variant is what’s holding things up?

    Thanks,
    Paul

It's impossible to know, some people's orders from Las Vegas arrive without their shipping ever updating from 'Shipping...' or receiving their tracking number. I ordered the (E) pal version so I doubt it has to do with the stock. Sucks, I just want to know where the game is so I'm not fretting about porch pirates, customs or some other disaster.

My copy arrived today despite there being no change in the shipping status.

Hi, does it have an "R" for "registered" on the right of the Sega Logo, on the front of the console?
I received my Japanese and Euro investor editions, but my MegaDrive (a Japanese model 1 with High definition graphics" and no R on the the Sega Logo) is at my parent's house. I think it's a VA5, and I sure hope it plays the game.
The serial is something like G21XXXXXX

Go tmy copies today. Apparently I had ordered two. Maybe one of them is Dave's? I have no idea. Got one investor copy and one plastic clamshell copy.

Anyway on January 3rd my review will be up on Game Sack. It will have clean capture and stereo sound, of course. Already have an hour and a half of capture (second time playing) and I'll capture more in the coming days. The news about it not working on 1601 model 1s is a pretty good troll. Actually got me pretty good when I turned it on the first time. Spoiler: It works fine.

Burning Fight looks good no? It has a lot of fun features.
