I actually genuinely loved the video ahaha
So let me get this straight: people that want to update their existing megadrive cart have to still buy the digital version by backing for 24$ and then they get access to a new page or something where they can also buy add-ons?
Wha?

Finally the MW is announced. It's the one thing that I wanted from this KS. I just wish the announcement was less flash and more what it does and why people should get it. :-/
Ditto to Tulio's 1st post. I'm more confused about what it does now than I was before when it was a complete mystery. My understanding out of the content there is you can unload high scores and buy in game content via "satellite". Is this a translation issue meaning the internet? Is the next piece of hardware to get this to work buying a TV dish? Update the game with what content? Does the megawire do anything else?
Goati, you can save your dollar if you want and buy directly. I have a couple of emails now where kickstarter is getting back doored out of profits maybe. I'm not sure what cut kickstarter gets. I would like to think this is just a move to remove obstacles from buyer, but if the stretch goal chart is legitimately set up behind the scene sales outside of kickstarter would hurt potential of meeting these goals. To be fair, the funds are at 750k and that chart stopped moving. What we all want is a debug (seemingly we should have already hit that stretch goal via the visual). I hope by debug we are talking better hit boxes, better balance of striking damage, and improved AI. With that said, this is my wishful thinking. I still think the game has merit as is, but it could improve. Here is the part of the message and link to buy outside of KS:
" For those who are reluctant to use KICKSTARTER, we have setup an option for you https://www.paprium.com/#PURCHASE.
Using Kickstarter is of course more flexible, we have setup a step by step guide here: [url]https://www.paprium.com/kickstarter/data/kickstarterguide_en.pdJourney. "
I hope Watermelon can succeed and put out more game content and improvements. I will say they might have learned something from the whole investor fiasco. Communication is abundent at this point. I hope it keeps up with regular updates for backers as the silence for years on end made people quite aggitated. As somebody said prior, the availability of components to create this game are hard to source and will probably drive prices up. This could be another long ride for those willing to take the journey.

Also, the link I posted doesn't currently have the megawire as an option. Maybe this hasn't been updated or maybe you actually do need to pay your dollar to buy on kickstarter.
It's less about saving a dollar and more about spending 25 for a questionable patch to a 70€ or whatever I paid for game where I don't think the patch is going to do much more for me other than... being able to show people what it does.
You'd think you wouldn't need to have a separate device, honestly the dongle came as an interesting bad surprise.

Here's the correct link:

Well that clinches it for me, I'm going to put in another batch of pre-orders for $5,000. Around 2030 Fonzie can half-deliver on another product, that might kind of work depending on which hardware revision you own. I bet the packaging will be really pretty!
are there 3 revisions prior ? If those were unmarketed, why name it 4.0 ? Shouldn't in that case the game be named Paprium 2.0... or 17.0 ?
I bet that megawire contains a faster clocked Datenmeister that can do hardware rotation & scaling.

I purchased the US limited edition and megawire. WM and its employees probably shouldn't be joking
at all, considering their track record. This E-mail left me uneasy moreso than it should.
Oh yeah, that looks legit.
I don't think "partner in crime" is a joke.
Great signature too, with that extra "d" on the end of Rule, they can't even remember their own tagline.
Also it's usually "inquiries" for taking questions, "enquiries" sounds like they have a mailbox for people investigating the company... or maybe they do?
