Whew. I wasn't able to log in for a couple of days, so of course I get bombarded with PMs. Should've known.

After an agonizing wait, it is time to see what I got!! Here's my sad little tree. I've been so busy I didn't have a chance to buy any ornaments either, so unfortunately this year Christmas will be more minimalist than usual.

The wrapped packages were certainly interesting. I received two boxes.

Wow! I've never won the raffle before. I wonder what I got.

That's so cool! The Dreamcast really does have a unique and enduring appeal to it. It's still hard to believe new software is being made for it, like in the dcemulation (2002?) days. The quality of the packaging is superb, professional.

    On to the other gifts...

    This looks good.

More wrapping?? With hints??? I have suspicions...

...and they came true! What an amazing set of gifts. I had been looking forward to any one of these, and now I have all of them.

I love Asian cinema (not just anime). I've never seen Fists of Fury, but I have seen Fist of Fury (which was great, one scene in particular clearly inspired the garden scene with Nozomi in Shenmue). Similarly, I loved Ring and wanted to see the (true) sequel.

I've already read the first two chapters of Box Man shortly after unwrapping. I'd been interested in it for a few years after I heard that it inspired some themes of Silent Hill, but I never got around to getting it.

And of course, I've always wanted to see how Morita would spin Sony's sine wave of history into a story of great success. I'd already read Revolutionaries at Sony which described the PlayStation and Ken Kutaragi in detail, but that book left a lot of questions about Sony's internal culture that Made In Japan may offer insight into.

I'm sure Zelda needs no explanation. There was also some delicious chocolate that I ate before taking a photo, whoops.

I'm looking forward to all of these. Thanks Secret Santa and Assault9, I love it!!

(Not like I had a choice)

Here's what I got. First from Assault9 I got this:

Thanks, I actually saw this in a local store the other day but refrained from buying it. So this was a nice one.

Next from my Secret Santa I got the following along with some candy and cookies:

I'm not sure who my Secret Santa is but I think it's someone I had before as the name and address seemed familiar, but I can't for the life of me remember who it is.

Well I somehow got two sets of gifts this year out of the generosity of my Secret Santa and BubsyFan1!

My Secret Santa gave me some awesome gifts including:

A 3D Printed glow in the dark keychain of Baloo the bear from Jungle Book! Wow!!
Lego Star Wars Original Trilogy for PSP
    Virtua Tennis for PSP
World of Illusion for Sega Genesis
    Virtual Squad for PC
    Some Mexican(?) Chocolate Bars
    A bag of coffee

And BubsyFan1 was also quite generous and gave me some awesome gifts as well:

The Cowboy Bebop OST 4-disc box set,
The Evangelion soundtrack by Yoko Kanno!

I really love her music and am so glad to own these!

He also gave some original WOTC Pokemon cards like Gengar, Double Colorless Energy, Kabuto, Clefable and a holographic Ninetails, so cool!

Thanks so much to the generosity of both of you, God Bless and Merry Christmas!

This site never allows me to easily post pics so lets pretend we are back in the days of radio.

Sega Genesis Fantasia, Quackshot and World of Illusion. Santa came through as I'm interested in building or completing Disney titles on Genesis/MD.

I got some nice goodies! Thank you!

That Defcon 5 looks right up my alley. I used to play a lot of those futuristic corporate dystopia type games as a kid, but have never played this one before. I'm excited!

The snacks were good too! I've never tried tried squid before. It tastes kind of like seafood jerky. I give it a thumbs up!
