I was including European games in my assessment. You're not likely to want more than 50 (or so) games for SMS. A very large number (though certainly not all) of the later SMS releases were just downports of popular Genesis/Amiga games. Many of them were ported surprisingly decently and are good enough if SMS is all you have, but if you have a Genesis, they're just not worth your time.

    I disagree.

Ive so far got 770 SMS games (some are variations) and I love them all, well mybe not F16 Fighter

Alex kidd on the Mega Drive is total gash for a start. There are quite a few games that didnt get an MD release. Anyway, we all like different stuff, it's only my opinion

Saturn had much, much more third-party support than N64. Although Sega really did put out the best games, there were definitely a good number of third-party classics on Saturn.
    Yes, definitely.

One thing I like about the SMS is it is a great alternative to the GameGear versions of Sonic, which are all unique in comparison to the Genny Sonics. All of them except Triple Trouble (if my information is correct, never seen triple trouble out there) are available on the SMS, maybe not as American releases... but certainly as PAL or Brazil releases.

Triple Trouble is indeed a Gamegear exclusive, as are the two Sonic Drift games and Sonic Labyrinth. Triple Trouble is usually one of the titles on the variety of different 20in1 GG+SMS handhelds that have appeared of late.
My favorite 8bit Sonic is the first one, I adore the Jungle levels.

My fav SMS Sonic is the first one too, in fact the first Sonic game I ever played... I still have the SMS2 with Sonic BIOS sitting near my MDs and other systems. Currently I'm busy with other SMS/GG Sonics...

Theres 5 sonic games for sms - Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Blast and Sonic Spinball. Blast and Spinball aren't very good though.

Thats why I didn't get the other two. Why couldn't we of gotten Sonic Triple Trouble instead of Sonic Blast?

It is a shame that Triple Trouble or Tails Adventures instead, I think both of those titles would have suffered a fair bit from losing the GameGears extended colour palette, but then Sonic Blast very much suffers from that problem itself.

I don't think so. Sonic Chaos has the same basic graphics(And in my eyes, look better than Triple Trouble.) and the Game Gear and Master version are basicly the same.

I think Triple Trouble does have more graphics in it, and uses extra GG colours. Sonic Chaos doesn't exactly play perfectly smoothly on sms, Triple Trouble expanded across the full SMS screen resolution might have suffered from slowdown.

Well, nether dose the Game Gear version. I'm shure they could've shrunken the screen resolution. Well, maybe some day we'll have some hacker port Triple Trouble to the Master System so we can finally play one of Sonic's greatest adventures.
