I have a late model 1 with an undisconnectable (wow, is that even a word?) ac adapter, and i'm getting a "high definition graphics" model 1 to be modded.
undisconnectable would be double negative...

Unremovificatable.
My Japanese MD1 has that. I've never been able to get a decent picture on the thing without scarting it.
Not a lot, really... but I've only had one for a couple of years.
Genesis 2 (working, w/ RF cable only) -- got May 2006
Genesis 1 (broken, as I described in another thread) -- got June 2006
Sega CD 2 (working, with extension block for the Genesis 1 and the metal plate connector to attach the extension block for the Genesis 1 as well as the RF shield/metal plate that you attach to the bottom of the Genesis so that the system will stay in place attached to the SCD) -- got June 2006
I use the RF shield plate, but not the Genesis 1 extension block, obviously. None of the consoles have boxes or anything like that.
Oh, how do you tell when a Genesis 2 was manufactured? There aren't date labels on them like with Sega CDs or Saturns.
Woof, unless some are still lost in my shed, I have six Genesisisisises.
A lone model 1, non-HD. I haven't bothered to pull the shield yet to get the specifics. It's also missing all the screws that hold the case together.
One MK-1451 with the 1645M decoder (working on it at the moment)
Three MK-1631s with the crap KA2195D decoder
One MK-1631A with an unknown decoder (probably KA2195D)
This is the internet. It means nothing. Don't believe otherwise.
I have 3x model 2s and 2x models 1s for some reason. One of the model 2s has a 32x on it, another alone and the last is scratched and missing the SCD port cover so I use it to play on. 1 of my model 1s has the SCD M1 and another 32X on it. The other is just alone! I think I've gone thru like 2 other model 2s and another model 1 but I end up selling them for some reason!
My Sega consoles collection - updated!
3 x Euro MD1 (1 with broken reset button, which I've had since mid-90's1 with mod switches, & 1 pre-TMSS console)
1 x Japanese MD1
1 x Asian MD1 (looks just like the Jp one, but seems to be PAL)
1 x Euro MD2
1 x Japanese MD2 (though I've come to suspect it might be some kind of clone... can't be bothered to confirm this)
1 x Genesis 2 (why did Genesis 2s not have coloured buttons like all the other MD variations? Looks so plain.)
2 x MD2 clones (1 region modded) with 4/6 built in games (although they both claim to have hundreds. Y'arrrr.)
1 x Nomad
1 x Multimega (with ridiculously huge box)
1 x Euro MCD1 (original, had since 90's)
1 x Japanese MCD2 (modded, multibios)
1 x Mega Drive 32x (Euro)
1 x Genesis 32x (USA - no, second thoughts if I remember rightly it's actually from Canada, has French on the box!)
1 x Super 32x (Jp)
No... I don't know how I ended up with all the 32xs. Most people don't even want one.
1 x Shinco 868 DVD player, with hundreds of Mega Drive games on vcds.
OTHERS:
Saturn (Euro)
Master System II w. Sonic (Eur)
Master System I w. Alex Kidd (Eur)
Game Gear (Eur)
Yellow Game Gear (Japanese)
Blue Game Gear (USA)
Excuse the bump - I meant to c/p this lot into the recent thread. I haven't slept for quite some time![]()

4x Australian Mega Drive II's, from various dates. Some have very good picture quality (By Mega Drive Composite standards), some are meh.
1x Sega CD II, plan on getting the battery replaced with some AA's. ^.^
Otherwise, my only other Mega Drive related hardware would have to be three Master Systems, all of them with Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
I just started collecting, so far I've got 2 Model 1's. One of them is my original one from 1992-3 it's a VA-7, so I just picked up an TMSS HD Graphics one this past weekend. I'm now searching garage sales and craigslist for the 32x, Sega CD, and games of course![]()
It may be a little late to quote the original post, but I have to say I love the model two. I just love the way it looks. I've never had any problems with the sound.
As for the Genesis systems that I own:
one Model 1. (w/ the High Def. Graphics logo)
two Model 2s (1 Sealed, New in the box).
one Model 3.

Currently I have a Model one High Definiton Genesis without TMSS and a model two. My first Genesis was a model 3, which has long since been discarded. I need to get a Sega CD for one of them, and with proper persuasion, a 32x.
I'm only interested in two things: Titties and beer. Ya know what I mean?

Since my stepson took back his non-TMSS model, all I have is:
Model 2 (x2) - not sure which version
Nomad - Kind of broken - use for testing carts
X'Eye - Main unit which I am about to do a neat region mod on
LaserActive w/Sega module
