Wish I could give a more articulate response or even a more original meme but....

I was somewhat interested in the idea of a reboot back when it was announced that it would be a reboot in the form of a movie. Then I lost some of that interest when they said it was going to be a TV series. But when a direct movie sequel, complete with Harrison Ford, was announced, I just started to get worried. It is looking very bland thus far; much like the Total Recall and RoboCop reboots; only problem is: this is not a reboot . It just doesn't feel as gritty and mysterious as the first. It's like they're banking solely on nostalgia here; because this trailer doesn't exactly scream: "new concept". Here's to hoping this is all just so that they don't give too much away. But then again, that could just mean there's not much in terms of content in the first place to draw from for the trailer.

On the other hand, I'm pretty stoked about Episode VIII. Didn't care much for VII, but I understand it was there to pave way to the rest of the saga. And in the trailers I've seen, it's got me hooked as it is (mainly for Luke, though ).

I didn't love the original, but I'm really getting tired of Hollywood rebooting movies that simply don't work in today's climate, where you need to appeal to as broad a demographic as possible and walk on eggshells to avoid hurting anyone's feelings.

On a side note, I really liked Episode VII. Fin overracted a tad, but I thought Rey was adorable and I hope Oscar Isaac has a bigger role in Episode VIII.

    And also, Luke.

And also ALSO, Hey Iron Lizard. Did you get too bored of Tuscan?

You guys talking about this trailer?

This is the first time I seen this one (but seen the first teaser for it). And I don't know what to think of it so far, except I wish everything wasn't so clean. Miss that grimy look the original and other 80s movies had.

And there's a new Star Wars ep.9 trailer? Never seen any trailers on this one yet. Lets see what we have...

Oh crap, this and following trailers are going to sucker everyone to pay for another junk Star Wars movie. I mean check out that hype building subtitle for the movie.

A meh Blade Runner certainly beats no Blade Runner

Just like Force Awakens was the best Star Wars since Empire too.

I'd rather watch a return of the jedi with everyone replaced as ewokes then watch the force awakens. I actually downloaded tfa blue ray awhile back and twice I couldn't make it past the 10 minute mark.

Just a follow up on that 2DS XL.

I've been trying to figure out if there is any feature at all that would make it better than the New 3DS XL. Just about the only feature that shines over it is this: you can now insert your Micro SD cards with ease without having to unscrew the case.

Let's hear it for the TWO N3DS exclusive games that have been made for the system that is now in its retirement phase.

Also, Hollywood is completely bankrupt of imagination, and has been crapping out awful remakes of popular movies for a long while now. Red Dawn. Total Recall. Robocop. I could go on, but I just ate, and would rather not waste my breakfast by putting my esophagus into reverse gear.
