I greatly desire to get my hands on the Zero Tolerance source code, for I have a feeling that this could be turned into a great "Alien/Alien's" kinda game.

It has pulse rifles, flame throwers, motion detectors, shotguns, grenades, and even a rocket launcher that could double as the grenade launcher for the Pulse Rifle.

the game already even has coding for the face huggers in it, remember those annoying little walking jellyfish thingies with the big eyes? ugh.

The walls can be damaged, there are stairways, elevators, and the flashlight/fire extinguisher can both be used to create puzzle elements,
combine that with key locked doors and you could have a great game that takes place in Xenomorph overrun bases/settlements/starships/etc.

It might not have the biggest screen, but it certainly has the gameplay down.

Two weeks not smoking, a full month of dieting and exercising, and I just ran a straight mile tonight for the first time in my life (in under ten minutes, no less).

It's only a matter if time before I start posting in that fellatio-fest of a work-out thread.

Running a mile is a great thing to post in that thread. I need more motivation.

Go run a mile! You can do it!

    You have now been motivated.

You should receive a bill within 3-5 working days, thank you.

Went for my mouthwash cup this morning and was greeted by this.

I'm a big Sword and Sorcery fan. Especially the older pulp stuff. Most people, though, only know it from the Ah-nuld movies, Tolkien (and his many wannabes collaborators), and Dungeons and Dragons games. Actually I don't even like Tolkien or D&D, and the Conan movies are little more than inspired pastiche. It's unfortunate that these tend to represent the genre, though, because it has some tremendous depth if you care to look.

Take the image above for example. It's a Philippe Caza rendition of Jirel of Joiry a brutally scary woman penned by C.L. Moore back in the mid 1930's way before feminists even existed. The character is arguably inspired by Robert Howard's earlier Red Sonja of Rogetino ("The Shadow of The Vulture"). It was C.L. Moore who took it to it's bizarre heights though. Think of the most histrionic, bipolar woman you know. Now imagine she's a redhead with a sword running rampant in a lawless world. That's Jirel of Joiry, and she is awesome.

edit: Oops! Wrong pic. This is the Philippe Caza pic:

I want one, it looks like it would fit on a trailer too. Perfect.
