I've heard some terrible things about the Silent Hill HD Collection, mainly the bugs and glitches, long loading screens, constant game crashes and the cherry on the cake, a shitty unneeded new voice cast for SH2. I really wanted to play Silent Hill 2 again in HD, but I didn't want to play it butchered.
So...I bought the PC version, applied a HD patch, and some hair pulling later (SH2 does NOT like multiple core PCs), got it working:
All in glorious 720p, with original voice cast and bug free. And I even got it working with one of these:
Got my USB Mega Drive pad converter in the post yesterday and it's pretty awesome playing Streets of Rage Remake the way it was meant to be played.

@Jackal: Are you excited about the Silent Hill movie sequel? I thought the first one was pretty good; but didn't think it warranted a sequel and had already given up on it. I can't believe they even got Sean Bean for it again (not that it makes any sense, after the end of the first one).

It was alright, definitely one of the best video game movies I've ever seen. Didn't like the "evil Cult" plot that much, though - they went overboard with it. It was true to the games, story-wise, but they focused way too much on it.
