Sweet! Have you seen people around here calling Shining Force CD a bad Shining Force game? I think I have but I can't remember any valid complaints. Anyway, I find it a nice jaunt on Hard difficulty, I might need to try it again on the Hardest Difficulty later. It is one of the few games I can just zone out to and play, the two Genesis games don't do it for me as much, Shining Force III does though. It must be the music.

They removed all the town RPG action, without those I lack reason to go through the RTS sections.
I just loved roaming around town, going to the shop and actually talking to people, it made the coming battles feel like they meant something,
talking to the people in the towns, little side stories that you'd see develop, meeting evil people who would be in disguise.
Without them its just.. chess, no real reason to play other then to win.
Shining Force 1 was an RTS/RPG, Shining Force II was an RPG/RTS, with much more RPG in it, Shining Force CD is full RTS, no real story.
It's more like Shining in the Darkness, I noticed that right away. I wish it was exactly like Shining in the Darkness' town though, that would have been very cool.
I can see that. I primarily play the Shining Force games for the turn based strategy sessions though, I actually think the towns are what bored me in the two Genesis games.

Yearp. More 20 something problems with mah life again.
Should I drop out of university and get a Microsoft certification so that I can work in the IT field and then get a house or something that I can live in, and THEN go grab my bachelors?
Or is that a terrible idea?
Depends on what your bachelors was in. Can you get an associates for now and the MCSC (or whatever)? In the IT field the certs are more important, but you will hit a glass ceiling at entry level jobs without the bachelors, preferably in computer something or other or engineering.

I'm in a general studies program right now, I've been taking English, Journalism, and philosophy courses. I'm getting into psychology right now, I have no clue as to what sorts of jobs I could get with a bachelors in that.
I can't do engineering or a lot relating to computer sciences because I really am quite bad at math.
You should get your "Microsoft Certificate" as you continue to go to school. It's a certificate. Not a degree.
Quit university and become a helicopter or airplane pilot. That's my advice.
