Firefox 24 has ruined click to play functionality. Now it activates plugins for the entire domain until you turn it off again. What were they thinking?

My favorite spin by Nintendo for the game was "Looks like a 32-bit game"

    No.

at the time DKC came out i thought it looked pretty good, looking at in more recent years I don't thinks graphics & visuals have aged very well.

DKC was a good looking "16-bit" game, to claim it looks as good as a 32-bit game was "What are you smoking?" territory.

Which, considering they skipped the 32-bit era, makes me feel even more justified in calling shenanigans on their claim.

I played DKC when it came out and immediately noticed that it had random background elements as platforms and the same exact element was part of the background with no differentiation. I also noticed a lot of elements from the Sonic games being borrowed at a much slower speed. I was not impressed. All of the hype about "cutting edge SGI Workstation Graphics" made me laugh too in light of the Genesis Jurassic Park games. It was a hot mess of Nintendo hype that even Miyamoto didn't like much.

I haven't used Firefox in awhile. Got more bloated every update, so I ditched it for Waterfox. Then that started to become a memory hog, so I switched to Pale Moon. It's faster and uses half the memory Firefox does, you should give it a try.

Regarding DKC; always thought that game looked ugly, even back then. And that goes for all games with that style, except for the Vectorman games, but they're an exception to the rule for ace games.

I was just going to say it was probably from all the bullshit pilling up.

DKC: I played DKC and it's sequels on emulator recently myself, and the whole time I was completely in awe of Nintendo's marketing prowes. Comparing them to any of the sonic games is an insult to sonic games. It was like playing a bad NES game. Those games really were sold on their CG graphics alone because the gameplay just wasn't there. Pitfall for the Atari is a more exiting game with more enemies.

I ditched Waterfox until I have more RAM. Seriously, the thing starts chugging 1 GB after a while.

Maybe they were talking about the games that were already on the Atari Jaguar 32-bit system?

Otherwise, they can't be serious with that. This is what 32-bit games look like:

I was thinking about what was the best alternative rock/modern rock song/single of the 90's. So many to choose from. Smells Like Teen Spirit obviously, Machine Head by Bush, Lightning Crashes by Live and on and on. If I were to pick just 1 it would be Hey Man Nice Shot by Filter. Such a classic song that has everything and still gets played today.

That would be hard for me to pick. It seemed like the character of the music scene changed from the early part of the decade which seemed much for fun to the more series dyed tip bondage pants kids stuff at the end.
