The Wolverine doesn't do any justice to the character from a comic perspective, but it does better from the perspective of the movies' character than anything that came before. Unlike the Frank Miller storyline, Logan doesn't know the first thing about Japanese culture or Bushido, or stealth/ninjitsu. They don't stick to any part of the comic stories. But, unlike the X-Men movies, Wolverine actually fights things and people besides women, which I enjoyed to watch even though he doesn't seem very good at what he does.

So, on it's own, would you say it was good, alright, passable? Did you enjoy it was I'm basically saying.

It is pretty much the only Hugh Jackman rendition of Wolverine that doesn't bug me in a big way. The lack of knowledge of anything Japanese might be explained away by the amnesia, and he can still hold his own in a fight even if it doesn't look like he can fight against a sword very well. As an Action flick it is good if you don't care about Wolverine as a comic book character.
