Fuck Jurassic Park. (Not really, but you'll understand where I'm going with this).

Dodo birds, Quaggas, and stuff like that, will eventually be brought back by swapping their DNA's in embryos of their current living relatives.

But the dinosaurs are too old. Their remains have been through ice ages and just aren't good enough for that.

You know in 2009, the first animal was brought back from being extinct? it was some goat. But it only lived for a couple minutes since it was born with a birth defect, since the DNA wasn't placed in the embryo perfectly.

What about Mammoths and Mastadons? Almost perfectly preserved examples have been unearthed in the frozen tundra.

And bringing back something that is extinct is somehow not considered a REALLY bad idea why?
Why do we think just because we have a hand in destroying something on earth that it is somehow not
the natural balance of this environment.
Maybe just maybe, there are things that explain why we are here with these other life forms,
and we cant live with the duty.
Maybe we are meant to do just whatever it is we do and maybe everything happens for a reason.
Be honest.....even vegans have to sustain from the world of the once living.
You cant live from eating sand.
The only thing good that can come from reviving huge long dead killing machines is
having your car flip over when the big ol rack of ribs is delivered.
    Ya ba dabba Do.
Or we may find that they were never from this planet to begin with,
or that the "air" now is very very different from their air from then.
However, life forms in general fight to survive and there may be laying somewhere
a organism that preyed on these creatures.
We could also re animate some long dormant disease or parasite that may mutate itself,
life thrives to live after all.
And it may find its new sustenance in mankind.

I barely know what a Mastodon is.

But there isn't much motivation to bring back Mammoths because they weren't killed by humans. They just went bye bye.

Scientists wanna at least put some Mammoth genes in elephants today, to kinda "tough them up". Give them fur and size. I don't know what that would accomplish, maybe some sick Zoo attraction scheme.

Also something else very strange, is Passenger Pigeons. They went extinct only 100 years ago, so they wouldn't be hard to bring back. Theres birds that have been perfectly preserved.

The problem is, those Pigeons are used to living in flocks of at least like 100,000. So if you only bring 1 Passenger Pigeon back, hes gonna be like "where the fucks all my buddies", and he'll go crazy.

    Take a look:

In that case we know a lot about the species.
Without it being so recent how could we ever have known such a detail about this birds
    habits.
There is just too many things we do not truly know about some species to even consider
trying to re-inhabit them in any environment.
    From a moral standpoint:

How would you feel to be the only human....
That you were created just to see if your species could be revived...
And that it has been millions perhaps trillions of years since your kind were alive...
Me personally I would direct myself to the first living thing and kill it...
If the ones involved in my existence know of life...
They will understand death as well...
The other emotional details of our species may be by that time long lost.

Excite QTE 2 is so great that they decided to make a new series of games based on it and call it God of War.

As long as they eventually also create a wife for me, I'll be fine. You can't survive without someone who knows how to clean and cook.

Truth is, they'll first get good at creating Passenger Pigeons, that will all die from terror or something. Then once they're good at creating them, they'll simultaneously create a big flock of them at once. Those will be the ones that survive. Its twisted, I know.

Random little Western/SciFi fact: DeForest Kelley, best known as Dr. McCoy ("Bones") in Star Trek, also played Wyatt Earps little brother Morgan Earp in John Sturges' "Gunfight at the OK Corral". Later he'd revisit that very same scenario in the TOS episode "Spectre of the Gun".

Yeah, Sega-16 needs the Vamp. It's too bad that guys like him, sheath and even Knuckle Duster ( which it was always a fun and interesting read ) left this place.

The gloy hole simulator? Would that be the Bally ASStrocade or the Virtual BOY? (I don't think God said that either. He's pretty quiet.)
