I might build myself an old PC build, as getting old games to run on Windows 10 is beginning to get on my tits. And when I do get them working, I arrange them on the desktop, but it keeps reshuffling them each time I reboot. Bleeding annoying.

I have that with my Steam games, I had put them all on my right screen (triple screen yay) and every time I got an Nvidia update it would throw everything onto the utter most left screen.
Then I noticed it did it with every update, so next updates I'd always write in the comment section "please don't throw my icons around like that!" But I don't think they ever read it.

Now I just dumped them all in a Steam Games folder on my desktop..

Yeah I tried shoving all my icons in a single folder on the desktop, but then some of them had their pictures deleted for some reason, so I'd end up up with 16/50 icons being blank. Windows 10 hates me.

I had that happen too, if that happens you just gotta rebuild the icon cache and everything will look fine again.

Not sure how that's done on Win10, I'm sure a quick google will explain it.
