The legendary Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff passed away today.


He was right up there with the greatest ever that played the sport.

He had a philosophy to the game that was beautiful. Looking at the old films you could see a player that was silky smooth, a hard worker, had touch, control, pace and he was brave. His body movement was different from everyone else's and he was full of invention. The complete footballer.

My nick is a nod to my favorite footballer.

In particular, at Arsenal he was magical. Athleticism with awesome technical ability. He was like a human highlight reel at that club. As well as being record goalscorer for his country.

But I'm guessing I don't need to tell you this. I see your location is listed as France. I'm thinking you know all too well about Thierry Henry.

Great player indeed (I lived for a while near his birth place where he was a local hero).

Unfortunately, his reputation has greatly faded in France after the awful 2010 World Cup : first he commited a hand fault during the eliminatories, then there was the despicable behaviour of the entire team he was the captain during the cup itself. French football/soccer hasn't yet completely recovered from this event...

I just now setup Plex on my Roku, and added the SS Plex channel as well as others such as G2G.fm.
Fired it up and finished watching the last couple episodes of Season 4 House of Cards. If Netflix is determined to only want my money by placing restrictions on the content I want to watch, then fuck 'em. There are always other avenues to consider.
