I was playing Shadow The Hedgehog GC on the Wii and it completely froze with a single high pitch noise and frozen video. Never happened to me on the old GC over how many hours. Defective Wii or does this happen with GC games sometimes in backwards compatibility on the Wii?

So what's up with me? Let's see... well I've restored an old 16mm projector to working order.
I use the word "restored" very loosely here. Alls I had to do was source a new lamp, and replace the arm and motor belts which had become all gooey over time.

Bought an el-cheapo soldering iron. Used it to fix the power issue with my Model 1 Mega Drive.


What else? The wife and kids are off for a short vacation to Cape Town, before winter time sets in. So now I've got the house to myself. That's never a bad thing.
