I spent a winter in Sweden. It was pretty different for me. I actually think I handle it better then the damn summers here though. Probable only because it was new for me.
You should see people here though. They really do bust out with the winter clothes when the temp drops from the 90s to the 70s. Its ridiculous. Then there is always one guy from Michigan running around in shorts who everyone thinks is crazy.

Sadly the majority of ugg boots are made from sheepskin with wool on the inside... (and yes I know we contribute with our unhealthy population of sheep.) It is true they originate from Australia, they were made for the under privileged children in southern Australia as bare minimum footwear. I have one eye fixed on them... it has lead to the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio wearing them!
