^Yup. You can go back 600 years to 15th century France when said hipsters were known as bohemians. Keep digging, and you will find yourself at the beginning of human civilization when the first counter-discoursive moron decided it was cool to stop farming and live like a hermit.

And, yes, thirty-some-year-old hipsters are the epitomy of sad. Anything older than that, and all you have is a loser.

Did you know that Fatal Fury Special on NeoGeo contains artwork which replaces the Presidential heads in Terry's stage with those of the game's bosses.

And once activated it causes Mr.Big from Art of Fighting to come flying by. (using his torpedo dive move from aof)

24 years later and shit is still being found out!

I've known a lot of staff in games stores talk down to people on subjects because their superior neckbeardy knowledge about some obscure game nobody cares about makes them qualified.

Like they're older than me and they work a shitty dead end retail job? Yeah real winners.

I remember back in the 90s when I was a teenager I worked at a Blockbuster video store. They had a mirror-image corporate mentality back then as they do now at GameStop. Fastforward more than a decade later (I'm literally talking 2010-ish), and one of the managers who used to think he was the shit back then, now in his mid-30s, still had the same dead-end job. I used to hate his guts back then. He used to be a real dick. This is the type of person who invested all of his youth trying to climb the retail corporate ladder; only to fall flat on his face. By the end, I just felt sorry for him.

GameStop, the physical video game media seller that you see now is most definitely not going to exist in 10 years. I'd give them 5 years tops. And that's only if they hold-on to their last breath via some sort of online streaming service or some online store.

Sadly, that's a fairly common occurrence. I don't necessarily blame the people that end up that way either, because the company they work for probably spends the whole time telling them that there's plenty of opportunity for promotion if they just work a little harder for a little longer. I know a few people now that have done those kinds of jobs for way too long before they realised that there's almost no hope of progressing further up the company.

Being a shop manager isnt the most awful of jobs to have

Except for the whole complete uncertainty of if you're even still going to be there in 5-10 years, it's just that most of them think they are something special and it's like no, you work retail lol.

    There is also schooling.

Trust me, I know. I worked retail for 9 years, sometimes more than one job at a time to get me through school; always with one foot out the door and a mind to GTFO the first chance I could get. Staying in those dead end jobs is a choice. I chose to GTFO.

The only good part of the new Beauty and the Best picture was the homage to Star Wars which was both brief and easily missed.

During the big fight at the castle when the townspeople were fighting the inhabitants. The harpsichord was playing the Imperial March.

Interesting. I did not catch that. Don't plan to watch it again just for that, though. So I'll wait for some youtuber to post it.

It is a myth that excessive masturbation leads to poor eyesight and the growth of hair on the palms of your hands.
