    I’m with MrMatthew and Thierry Henry on modern family seems pretty good to me. Does anyone else here like The Goldbergs?

    What a painful and stupefying feeling I have after picking up a hot tray out of the oven with no mitt. I just had to let that spider on the mitted hand live. I'll just set him down and.............

    I remember years ago when I was 4 or 5 my sister ran up to the oven and put her hands on the glass door and screamed really loud and burnt her hands pretty good

    Accidentally placed my thumb on a hot stove heating element once. It was winter to I drenched my thumb under freezing tap water until the sting of the cold was too unbearable, break and repeated a few times. Seemed to have done the trick, because no swelling or blistering. Followed up with a glob of polysporin as an extra measure and zero burn traces on my thumb are the results of that.

    IDK, but this thread has evolved a bit from his original vision. After the first two or three dozen pages it became the “Idle Chit Chat” thread, kind of a neutral zone compared to how combative the other threads are. I don’t think a single argument has sprung up here.
