I wouldn’t be a very good zealot if I didn’t.
I was going to post that last night when it was actually relevant, but the latest iPhone update bricked my damn phone, so I spent the evening trying to essentially stuff the tooth paste back into the tube.
Nice collection. Good to see Pockets and a Micro, and none of those awful crab-like SPs that everyone slobbers all over. Well done, Señor Matthews.
Edit: Ha! Nevermind. I see the stack hiding behind the crew on the top left. Hey, to each their own. I have one too. I just happen to detest it like a sickness.![]()
Gracias, Profholt.
Some additional details:
I should have every color variation of the GameBoy Pocket accounted for. The trickiest to find was the transparent green one - I had to wait awhile before I found a good deal on eBay. The pink one was only released in Japan (to my knowledge) and my wife got it for me for Xmas last year.
I bought the Neo Geo Pocket Color just after I joined up here in 2008. It came with a handful of games. I keep on thinking that I got it for chump change, being so long ago. But even then it was about $70.
The boxed Game Boy Micro was given to me by a friend who knew I collected. A couple days after he gave that to me, I found a loose Micro at a thrift store for $3. They thought it was a cell phone or something.
Next to the $3 Micro in the upper left is an original Donkey Kong Jr Game & Watch. I found that last year at a flea market, being sold by a reseller who was selling everything else at retail value. He apparently thought it was a DS game case, based on where it was on his table, so I think it was $5.
Aaaand... the GBA SP isn’t my favorite console design, but I do enjoy the color variations. I have an Onyx SP that I whip out every now and then to play OG GameBoy games. It’s uncomfortable, but still the best handheld to play GB on, in my humble opinion.
Anyone else switching from hotmail to gmail?
Hopefully our good friend thief learns a valuable lesson from this
I really want to play AM2R, the fan remake of Metroid 2. Does anyone know if it’s still available anywhere?
