I totally get what you are trying to say. Like if I want to get a new TV, it would have to be 4K. Whats the point of getting a 1080p TV in 2018? but in your situation I suppose it makes sense.
Hello, yeah I do visit oftend just not logged in.

I would like to replace my ten year old Samsung LN26A450C1D because for the last six years it takes me almost ten minutes of hitting the power button consistently (if stop for few seconds seems like it starts over) as the TV is cycling the capacitors to ignite the fluorescent tubes. But now the screen is developing a nice lighter faint line (kinda looks like burn-in) on top of that.
I would try to replace the capacitors but these TVs are really not meant to be taking apart.
If I replaced the TV I would like to have as many inputs too like 3 x HDMI 2 x component and 1 x composite (<ha-ha VCR). Or go back to the days of AB switches? .. oh ya! $$ Could also upgrade the VSX-454 amp?

TV's still come with composite and RF antenna ports. I think the standard is 3 HDMI ports which was a bit hard for me to get over since my old one has 4.

    Life?!...What console is that on?

The coaxial is for digital transmission now a days besides I get a better picture over composite Edit: but I see most sub 30'' (yeah don't have much room or want for bigger) TVs the composite is mixed with the component.

Mine didn’t come with composite ports instead it came with adaptor to plug those cables into. I’m not really bothered by it since I use my old CRT for 8 to 32 bit gaming

Go back and read my little exchange with him in the 2100 thread. He then followed me around to every thread I had posted in recently, just to make sure I saw how adorable he was.

I did notice the exchange and now it all makes sense. It's sweet really.

UPS is mean. They cock teased me. Get an email, hey your package getting an early delivery! 12 hours later still in Vegas (a full state away) but sure still on track for today! I call them and they say the tracking is wrong and still scheduled for tomorrow.

While package tracking can indeed be useful it can also suck and be inaccurate. I remember a couple times seeing packages due to be delivered next day showing up 3 or 4 days later or instances where I can’t complain since they scheduled to arrive a week later and got them within 1 or 2 days instead which usually seems to happen when order from Amazon I’m guessing it’s cause the warehouse is relatively close by as it almost always ships from NJ or DE

    What! lol
I'd get frostbite on my frostbites in that type of weather. No chance I'd make it out alive.
Anything here under 10°C and we're already thinking hot drink next to the fireplace.

It's 9 degrees F outside. I don't own a coat. I often have my window open in the winter. I love the cold.
