If you're using Chrome it will because of those 11 tabs open. Chrome is a resource hog.

Could be that you're visiting one of those sites that hijack your pc to be part of the bitcoin botnet, Which means is that while you're connected to that site it uses your pc to mine bitcoins for them.
4chan started doing that a couple weeks ago, and if you had NoScript blocking their shit it wouldn't properly load the site. (well until someone created a proper blocking script which got around that crap)

Watching Sony E3 conference in 2009 and they were still boring the audience with PS2 sales data.That's not a typo, I said PS2. It's a good thing Jack Tretton is gone as he was as boring as you can get. Oh and lol The Last Guardian. To this day I have never seen a game get so hyped on announcement then turn into vaporware and 8 years of super mega hype asking where it is..it actually gets released...and is quickly forgotten. How can something once so hyped be forgotten on release like a fart in the wind?

And that's why you have to use NoScript and adblockers like Ublock Origin. You'd be surprised to see how many domains your computer is connecting to even when visiting the most simplest of sites.
Also helps to blow the dust out of your computer/laptop now and then. (just make sure to stick a toothpick in that fan so it doesn't spin itself to death)
