I can't relate to people that think they've got a "beard", but what it actually is that they're just unshaven, most probably through pure apathy and laziness. They look like shit. Completely agree. The amount of men who go around with 'designer stubble', or are the owners of very ill advised beards or goatees, is accelerating at a frightening pace. Fresh faced young men wear beards because they want to look older, and then when they get into their late 30's/early 40's they do everything they can to look young again so, the question is, why not just celebrate your youthful looks while you still have them instead of trying to hide them?!

There's a local guy selling the Fahrenheit CD 32X game. Only for the equivalent of about $12. Complete, and apparently in good shape. Except for "the first disc has an one inch crack at the edge of the disc, that reaches the surface of the disc as well". He currently has no means of testing it.

Apparently that first game disc is for the Sega CD version of the game, and as a "key" to allow access to the 32X version of the game, which is on the 2nd disc.

My question, (game quality aside ),

I would solely be playing the 32X version (using the 2nd game disc), so does it matter if the 1st disc has that issue if it's not going to be used to read game data off it?

If the SCD can't read the first disc, then it won't be able to continue to the second.

If so, maybe it won't matter in this case if it's just a quick check to insert disc 2.

Yes but if it's physically cracked the damage might not be localized to that area, it might also shatter from spinning if the crack is big enough.
