It had nostalgia going for it from my perspective until I went in a Toys R Us store last year and saw the prices. Then the nostalgia sort of blew away in the wind...along with my money. Wish I was a kid again...(sighs)

Mine evaporated over ten years ago when the chain dropped the ball with the then new MOTU toy line. After that it was a place that was good to waste some time and do some tire kicking.

So I have been talking with Nathan Barnatt (Talking Classics/Kieth Apricary) and I'm sending him my second DreamEye since I have 2. He's shooting a Kieth Music video with the DreamEye. Also seems he lost some TC episodes since an HD died a while back and I happened to have the HD versions on my PC so he can put on the next TC DVD. So it was cool talking to him. Real cool dude.

I've watched the guy for years.

But did you download those TC episodes from YouTube? they've probably been hit with YouTube compression algorithms. I suppose its better than nothing.

I was really surprised to hear that Toys R Us was closing up shop (I always assumed they managed to stay in business thanks to registry lists etc.). What I wondered about was whether they had made a decision about their Canadian stores. One analyst here stated that "The Canadian operations of Toys "R" Us are managed in Canada and operate autonomously from the U.S. operations, giving them a separate and healthy balance sheet". In spite of that, the company is in talks to sell its entire Canadian business.

I heard those stores were getting re-branded or something along those lines.

The only reason I knew of this is that in the past I've tried to collect the "interactive" titles RCA put out for the CED video format, and two of those ('Murder, Anyone?', and 'Many Roads To Murder') also appeared as LD games on the MSX.
