See, that was kinda my fault. I mentioned that I believed in an afterlife in a thread about somebody dying recently, Stephen Hawking I think, anyway he was interested in my opinion on the subject and started a thread. He wasn't trolling, he was genuinely interested in discussing it, as was I, but it became clear very quickly that nobody else was and therefore people who had no interest in the thread or it's subject matter decided that Thief must have been trolling. He really didn't do anything wrong but his past on here unfortunately preceded him.

This is cool (although I don’t know whether I hope he’ll succeed or not), but it kinda/sorta confirms my suspicions that John Q Public just doesn’t really care too much about a stand-alone toy store ... and that contributed to the doors closing as much as anything else.

But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe KB will do gangbusters.

But the big problem is these toy stores only got nostalgia going for them, nothing else.

Like imagine if a company created a completely new brand of toy stores in 2018, that'd be disastrous.

It was said that Sega wantes to announce this last year at E3 for a release by the holiday season, but decided to cancel at the last minute bc Shenmue III got pushed back.

I think it's still possible. If your niche enough with a great selection of products, it's entirely possible that a toy store in 2018 would be successful.

About 3 years ago I was in the UK and my relations took me to a toy store that was just freaking amazing! Wish I could remember the store's name but it was 3 or 4 floors and just totally packed with people! There were old and young just ogling at the items on the shelf!

Shenmue one should not have been merged either. The old one had no info on the front page about release or systems because it's from 2012. Mine is the title have systems and OP gave the info. Now it's a mess to find. Sorry but whoever merged it messed up.

New thread was on the exact same topic. It's not like necromerging. The old thread was established and active. You should make an effort to lookup another thread on the same topic b4 startjng a new one.
