Anyone else find it difficult to sleep without some sort of white noise in the background? My favourite way of drifting off is by listening to audiobooks being read on YouTube at a low volume. The sound of rain and whale songs are also highly relaxing for me.

I do that with documentaries. Good old Charlton Heston narrating for Secrets of War, World at War, or Hell in the Pacific are all good. Cheery stuff that somehow does not cause me nightmares and is still better than listening to the constant flood of self doubt and loathing coming from my mind....

So for about a year, I've been wondering whats slowly eating my disk space. About 1 GB per week was being used.

I took a look at C:\Windows\Temp, and theres 45.6 GBs in there. It was like discovering treasure. The program I used was WizTree and highly recommend it.

I think it was mostly hibernation save-states. I definitely know the main reason it got so big was because disk cleanup wasn't cleaning that folder for some reason.

Anyways this computer only has about 9 months left before its too old. I hate being the only guy who has a triple-core processor.

That's harsh. I find it odd that when people are complaining that the forum is slow or not active or interesting enough that Thief would be mentioned as an apparent example of somebody who only posted shite. At least his threads were sometimes thought provoking and provoked debated, some of it very interesting, instead of people banging on in minute anal detail about SNES v Mega Drive, or Saturn v PS1 v N64 tech specifications for the 10,000th fucking time. Yes, I get it, it's a retro games forum, but variety is called for from time to time.

I wasn't being totally serious about him like that. In truth when he was at his best he brought some good discussion. When he was at his worst tho he really shit the bed a lot and thus I was forced to act for the betterment of the users of the forum.

Keep in mind the lords above have already made it clear he is trolling way too much. I'm pretty much the only thing between him and them that actually hasn't had his account totally wrecked forever. I hope he realizes that when/if he comes back.
