Really uptight, easily agitated, he had a group of people as a vendetta list, and he kept their posts in his signature.
Well that much is obvious. TBH when he replied to my posts he was always polite and respectful in discussion and contributed interesting and relevant information in them. Seemed like a decent guy to me, but its obvious now to me from the last couple of pages in this thread that he rubbed some people the wrong way.

LOL still trying to prove that wrong eh? Frankly I'd trust the word of the people that put the game together over any "evidence to the contrary" presented on an internet forum and it was from a developer interview that the "18 million" figure came from.
Still there are some people that believe that the crappy PS2 port of that Resident Evil game is as good as the PS2 got...lolol. As for me I don't own the game so I'm not gonna get butthurt over what people think.

What exactly happened, though? Was it a particular thread in question?

Also, as for CrystalPepsiFan? What happened there too? I didn't even know self-banning was even a thing. I am so confused.

He just changed his avatar to say banned lol. He's not actually banned.

Other than his last post in the N64 Mythology topic, I'm not seeing anything that would make Barone quit. Maybe his thoughts on the Fighters Megamix review, which I really doubt would have made him leave the site.

    You can't self-ban. lol

Apparently, from what I've kinda noticed, when you get the banhammer your rep points get reset to zero. CPF's account is untouched, except by him.

I think it’s literally as simple this: he made a great big stink over people talking about other stuff in his N64 thread. He summed it up pretty well himself by saying what a downer it was to see a new post in his thread, only to find that it was about the Switch or something else he didn’t want to talk about. In other words, he didn’t like the focus of his thread steering away from him.

He bitched and moaned about it, so some of us decided to dance on the freshly-cleaned carpet of his thread with our dirty shoes on.

Pretty sure that once he realized that he was being teased, he decided to scoop up his toys and leave.

This, combined with how generally insulting he was to many people, just leads me to believe that he is just terribly insecure. Anyone with a modicum of self-confidence should have been able to withstand such a minor blow to their ego (in my opinion).

Oh, and I think I remember your second guy now.

    Regarding CPF:
Oh lol. Good one, though. Not quite certain where the jab is aimed at, but good one.

That's like using the Bible as toilet paper.

This is how you do it.

StudioMDHR needs to add an B&W TV filter to Cuphead.

Aww crap, you actually know what I'm talking about...

Remember, how many people have said that Jax and Daxter does 15 million polys per second, when Jason Rubin said a year after the game was released, he thought the PS2 could do 9 million polys per second.

You just aren't gonna see that kinda performance from a console from spring 2000. Theres no evidence supporting the idea the console could handle figures that high.

Too many good games to play this year. Even if they all cost 1 dollar. Still could not buy them all.
