Hm. Back in 1999 or 2000, I was washing dishes, and when I turned around to get a towel to dry my hands, my heart seized up, then stopped. I took a header into the floor, and waited for it to start beating again. Well, it didn't. While I was suffocating, my vision cut out, then my hearing, and my sense of touch, and kinesthetic sense. Higher brain functions started turning off soon after. Imagine the whole of your self as a jigsaw puzzle floating above a void, and pieces are falling off, into it. Not a pleasant experience at all. Before the last piece was gone (and it left with a peculiar variety of panic), I had the most brief awareness of oblivion. Some time passed, with no awareness. Then, dim awareness came back, and more started switching back on. Now here's where it gets awful. Have you ever fallen asleep on your arm? When you wake up and notice it, ha ha, can't feel anything. But then what happens? Oh, the horrible tingling. Now imagine that absolutely everywhere. Behind your eyes, under your skin, inside your spinal column, under your fingernails, in your lungs, and anywhere else with pain receptors. When my vision came back, about 20-25 minutes had passed. I estimate that I had been clinically dead for about 11 minutes; brain damage territory. While it doesn't normally happen for that long anymore, I still drop dead on occasion, but I often hit the floor hard enough to knock my heart back into functionality. I said all of that so I can say this.

There was nothing but oblivion. Not the awareness of it, but nothing at all.
My last conscious thought, though not in language, was something like "I don't have to put up with this wretched existence anymore".
Coming back was more painful than nearly gouging out my eye, more painful than the spinal tap I had when I was paralyzed, more painful than ripping my knee apart, and more painful than the time I spent digging gravel and infected tissue out of my arm with a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a hobby knife after someone tried to run me down while I was walking home.

I have been clinically dead a few times back in 2015. Heart stopped entirely and was shocked back. Saw nothing. Heard nothing. It was like I didn't exist until I was shocked back.

Modern Bioware is the Sonic Cycle except no one dares give Bioware games bad reviews. Even ME: A was 70 something meta despite being a disaster. Anthem very likely be another mediocre showing with a lot of shine. I also think 2019 will be an insane year for gaming,similar to 2017.

I've yet to see this "Sonic" cycle. 100% of the games I have been interested to play have been good accross all generations.

Heroes, Shadow, Sonic 06, Unleashed, Sonic 4, Lost World, Black Knight, Secret Rings, Advance 2, Advance 3, Forces,Rivals and every spinoff just about, Boom were all trash. Esp 06 and Boom. 3DS/DS games have mostly been from terrible to Mediocre as they forgot what Sonic Level design is. Instead, we get speed and run forward. Sonic was about branching paths and momentum with platforming.

Rush was just okay. Sonic Colors, Gens, Advance,Mania only good Sonic games since 2001. I don't know how anyone with a sound mind can possibly defend Boom on Wii U. Even if it was finished it's a terrible game with piss poor game and level design. Sorry, but someone would have to be a truly blind fanboy to not see the Sonic Cycle. It does get the occasional break with Colors, Gens, Mania but we still get shit like Sonic Boom or Forces. Despite how lame it was I did enjoy Lost Worlds. People can like them. We all like some bad games from time to time but to actually deny Sonic has been pumping out mostly garbage since 2003 is insane. I have Sonic merch all over my place. So not like I hate Sonic. Just considering how much crap the series ha sput out the last 15 years, 3 games saved him from being Bubsy status.

Well, I don't know about that. All I've been able to hear or read about Boom Wii U is constant bickering and disdain. Don't own it. Have not played it. So zero notion of its worth from me.


I have, however, seen you bickering about the 3DS Boom games, Fire & Ice and Shattered Crystal, even after admitting to never even having played them, just because they carry the Boom monicker. Which is just the sort of thing that a "truely blind fanboy", as you have called me, would say.

So, please, by all means, lest you want to continue going down that hole you relentlessly keep digging for yourself, try and refrain from throwing insults.

Play EX Troopers on PS3. Best game in the Lost Planet series no one has heard off. It's a more anime take. Despite being in all Japanese it's one of the most import friendly games you can find. It's impossible to get lost or not know what to do. You can even run around in Monster Hunter armor shooting stuff. IMO it's in the top 5 TPS games last gen.
