I've been playing Panzer Dragoon Saga. What a journey, it's a crime that playing it is limited to those with a Saturn and fat wallets.

But really, an amazing game bar none. The art, the music, the setting, the polish. One of the best experiences of the Saturn and its generation.

If you have already have a saturn its pretty cheap
to flash a gameshark......
Still have sealed ones and you can burn and play
whatever......

The only thing i hate about the saturn set up this way
is Im at the mercy of that damn tab battery for saves...
So either i leave it plugged in to the ac or loose my saves
when the battery dies.....

Nope. Once the battery dies your saves are gone and the battery only gets recharged when the system is on, not when it's plugged in to the wall.

It doesn't make any sense. To preserve saves, I change the battery once a year with the system on.

Guess I can call on voultar and see what mods exist for
this specific problem.....
Im sure theres a way to power that circuit through the existing board+ maybe a few components .. ..🤔

Update:Looks like there is a solution involving a f-ram installation....anyone heard of it?..

I haven't looked for a solution. I'm fine with changing the battery every year or so. I really should get a save cart so I don't lose all my saves in a second though.
