Obsolete but really neat old tech. Similar in a way to the more common CED (Capacitance Electronic Disc) but unlike that one this works in a way where the stylus reader doesn't come into contact with the disc itself. So theoretically these have a longer play life.

Those D-Theater encoded tapes are cool. 720p/1080i from a video cassette. Seems like some kind of sorcery.
I have a couple of "entry-level" JVC HM-30000U players. These are the ones without alternate audio capability (no DTS).
One was dead on arrival. I kept it for spare parts.
I made a Spider-Man thread some years back to get the community's opinion about the deluge of Spidey games out there. Obviously new stuff like the PS4 game wasn't out yet, but there is a lot of good info in there about games into the PS360 era.
