Yeah.. I know. but there was always just something comfy about sitting on my couch and playing them on my 42" flatscreen tv.
I've always been quicker with a mouse though, but there was just something about the couch experience.
Maybe I should get a new chair for my desk, something more comfortable than what I'm currently using.
Though.. who knows how badly they'll fuck up the new Elder Scrolls. Win10 only? streamlined to the point of it behaving like an FPS instead of an RPG? #redguardlivesmatter bullshit?
not that it matters, I think it will still be at least two years before it even comes out.
I still play my xbox for new games generally, but I plan on getting a new graphics card for my PC in the near future. I've been looking forward to Cyberpunk for years now, and whenever it does actually come out, I'd like to play it with raytracing and better performance, so PC seems the better way to go. Plus, I want to get the new Flight Simulator that came out this year. My current RX580 would likely chug with that one though.
My computer is actually in my basement mancave just 10 feet or so away from my tv, so occasionally I just connect it to the tv with a long hdmi cable so I can sit in my recliner and play. I use wireless keyboard and mouse as well, so it's pretty convenient. I dont mind sitting at my desk for most computer stuff, but for long gaming sessions, the recliner and tv are definitely the way to go.
Yharnam mate, it's been ages. How the hell are ya?
The comments made earlier in this thread about the current state of Hollywood were bang on accurate. God I miss classic Bond and balls-out-the-bath action films featuring massive body counts and one-liners. Hollywood has been hemorrhaging money ever since they went all in with the PC feminist woke shite. When will they finally get it through their stubborn thick skulls that people aren't interested in that bollocks. Get woke go broke.
Hollywood isn't broke but they have become more formulaic as the era of art is over. Hollywood is more risk adverse than ever. Films are written by a committee now. A yes man director. A lot of market research. They leave hundreds of scripts submitted to them unread. Music has become that way and so had gaming. New ideas are all but dead. Either a sequel. A remake. Reboot. Based on a comic book or a book. PG means something different now than it did in the 80s. Poltergeist was PG. PG-13 used to mean something different. Now one just means kids and the other means censored R.
I wish Hollywood would take that $300 million for one big film. Read some of those submitted scripts and divide that money on smaller films with new ideas and who knows one of those may become it's next big money maker.
Hollyweird might not be broke but if there is one positive outcome from the C19 pandemic it is how people have tossed aside the movie experience and just seem not to care about the industry. The high priced actors, actresses, directors, studios, etc.., are not happy in the least because maybe, just maybe, people are waking up to how meaningless the industry really is in its current state. In another topic about movies I mention watching the remake of Jacob's Ladder and it reinforces what I mentioned above. My guess is most people knew what to expect upon hearing of a remake. The main focus of the plot were blacks but the color change afforded absolutely nothing to the movie. Such a change was added as nothing more and less than virtue signaling. Was it a movie I'd spend my money on? Never. I knew such a thing when it first came out. Was it worth passing an hour and a half of time when not having to pay for it? Sure. Would I watch it again or purchase a BR of it? No. Hollyweid has lost touch.

Edit: Aww, it’s so tiny! Get out your magnifying glass, Neovamp ... and feel the burn. That was the first image that came up when I searched for “deal with it”
