Tic Tacs and a can of coke. Always had that during school lunch breaks.

Is it unreasonable of me to be annoyed with the fact that 9 out of 10 sellers on eBay opt to leave their package in their mailbox for "pick-up" service? I suppose I don't need to have my stuff immediately, but dammit that adds at least 2 to 3 business days of handling time onto the shipment. Not sure why, but pick-ups take a bit to process before actually departing. If you take a package straight to a PO for drop-off, it's going to be departing at the end of the day.

Might sound like a nit-pick, but it really is the difference between "Wow, it already go here?!?" and "Oh yeah, I did order this, didn't I?".

In my area, the postal workers won't pick up anything in your box unless you have mail, and sometimes not even then. Every time I send anything off, I personally send it from the main PO downtown.

This SOTN project looks pretty awesome! I don't know how close it is to completion, but I'll definitely be checking it out.

The Atari 2600 version of Joust is the only version of the game I’ve played until recently, I haven’t played it since I was a kid, how “arcade accurate” is it?

The 2600 version isn't really arcade accurate at all. Graphical limitations aside, the speed is different and there are fewer combatants. It's still a great version of the game and a lot of fun though. The NES version is closer to the arcade, but still not quite right, and they "enhanced" the graphics which I'm not crazy about. Apparently the Famicom version kept the original graphics, but I've never played that one. I think the port on the Genesis and SNES 'Williams Arcade's Greatest Hits' is the best home port from the 80s/90s console days. It's fast and furious just like the arcade.

But the 2600 game is still tons of fun, I think they did a great job with it. But it's definitely a more laid back version of the game. If you want that arcade-level Joust intensity, it just ain't gonna get you there.

I have only ever played the arcade, Genesis, and Atari 400/800 versions, which were all great. I like to use a glide maneuver that requires holding down the flap button. Does the 2600 version have that? Just curious.
