Permanently adding subtitles to an avi file shouldn't be so damn complicated. I used to have program that worked well but I can seem to find it. I went through like 18 different programs and write ups before I got it to work. This is crap.

I guess Audioslave and Velvet Revolver weren't bad.

Other than they sounded like their separate parts combined together:

    Rage Against the Soundgarden
    &
    Stone Temple Roses

Scott Weiland was just a poor frontman choice, and I'm pretty sure Slash & co. agree (now)

I actually liked Audio Slave better(ducks) only because I never really liked Rage Against the Machine. I loved Show me how to live and the video stolen form Vanishing point. Still they weren't all that great

Velvet Revolver had potential but just wasn't all that good.. Scott Weiland can actually pull off a pseudo Axl alright. They actually did all G N'R songs live. I had high hopes after hearing Dirty Little Thing but everything else sounded bizarre to me. Some songs sounded like early GN'R songs and then the chorus would come in sounding like STP. Not a good mix.

Scott Weiland is good when he is good, but he's still Scott Weiland.

But I heard they wanted to get someone else, but their label said Scott because he was more well known.

Maybe Slash & Co should have got Chris Cornell, then we could have had Guns n' Garden.

So I've been given a prescription from my GP after having a wierd 'popping' sensation in my left ear over the past few days. I went to the chemist's/dispensary in Tesco and handed over the slip, and the total came to £3.49.

...eh? NHS prescriptions are £7.50, flat rate.

Nope. The girl behind the till showed me the price sticker on the rack she pulled the medicine box from: £3.49, so I assume it was an over-the-counter product.

Fair enough, I paid less than half of what I was expecting, but after sitting and thinking for a while, I've realised that I still handed over the prescription slip. I paid £3.49, fair enough, but I wonder if that means that Tesco charged the NHS the full prescription fee and thus made £4.01 profit, or they charged exactly what I paid for my medicine.

...Just a niggling mystery for the new week

Stewie: Did you hear that Meg? Guys can marry other guys now. So...this is awkward, but I mean, if they can do that, that is pretty much it for you, isn't it? I mean you as well pack it in. Game over.
