Many indie labels sell bands on tape only. I just purchase 400 tapes from a dealer for $35 with good stuff like Queen, AC/DC, and etc. Time to time a tape is just warned out but many tapes I find are in great shape and sounds great. If you have a killer tape deck tape will sound great when you record them and play them. I don't like the sound of digital that much so I usually take a CD and put it on tape for good results.
