I've never said that Germans were boozehounds or mindless. I recognise Germans as highly intelligent innovative people who just happen to have a strong love for beer. As for Germans & Chocolate thats Switzerland your thinking of a land well known for its chocolate.

nah, but in all seriousness, I'm more off a caffeine junkie than a boozehound. I can go weeks without beer and liquor, but I rarely get through the day without at least 2 cups of coffee (5 when it's a workday). Everynone to his own vices, I guess.

Nevertheless, one of the greatest things is going to a beergarden on a nice, hot summer's day, sitting in the shades of the trees and drinking a mug of beer with friends. That's simply genial.

By the way, this is my favorite beergarden in Munich:

Sure, chocolate is okay. Not my favorite kind of sweets. But then again, my gf is nuts avbout the stuff, so there's something to it.
