Bugger firing you all. The authorities should have just closed Tucson.
Dammit, I am now waiting for over half an hour, the Golf tournament started three hours ago!
The funny thing about an oxymoron is, even if you remove the ox, there'll always be a moron. The Question Remains: Y?
HOLY SHIT MAGPIES!
I miss Arizona, seriously. When I can actually get the money and time I'm taking a vacation just to sleep outside.
Just don't do that in the Summer.
I'd like to take the GF to Arizona some day, but she doesn't really want to go to Phoenix (where I lived for a short while in the early 90's). She hears 100 F+ in summer and freaks.
But then she is used to 70-90F with 80% humidity...which sucks all kinds of ass.
I have two stepbrothers who live in Phoenix, and an ex-girlfriend moved to the Phoenix area as well. I've never been to AZ, though.
Hell, it snowed it Safford the first time I visited, and that's a real desert region. I remember Phoenix having pretty average climate (75F, 65% Humidity), but I would go right towards the south. I'll move there one day.
Yeah, it was an early spring break.
I probably should have actually gone,ya know, in the summer, but it was impossible at the time.
It gets nasty in Phoenix with all that concrete. Tucson sucks enough. Flagstaff is gorgeous though. The mounains around arizona are pretty neat. The mountains close here are covered woth forest. They are nicked name the sky islands for good reason when you look below and see the desert. Still though the heat is killing em . I am done with this state. I type this as it is 99f/37c and It will only get worse.
I loved it though. I can stand that heat and probably get used to it normally pretty quickly.
I'm considering going to college in Arizona, actually. Collins, specifically, for game design (yeah, like those fat kids on the commercials). Hell, I just wanna get out of Michigan and Arizona seems like the warmest state I could tolerate living in. Maybe California if I avoided LA.
States I've been in:
Oregon (obviously)
Washington (it's right across the Columbia River, after all)
California
Florida
Illinois (layover at O'Hare International airport)
Colorado (layover at whatever Denver's airport is called)
Virginia (when I was visiting DC)
Like two years in a row, I took a family road trip from Cleveland-St. Louis-Oklahoma City-Austin, Texas-New Mexico-Tucson-Phoenix-LA-San Diego-Las Vegas-Louisville, Kentucky.
Now I want to do it again, but anyone I would take would rather fly, which kills the purpose of the trip.
