Yes. The Politics thread always makes the forum bleed a little bit.
It's terrible to witness any of our members being censored and subjugated by The Man.
Just got a very late payment for three games I had on ebay, to which Paypal responded by putting the transaction under investigation saying they think the seller might not have wanted to send the payment. Then Paypal asked me, and only me, to provide information to continue the investigation. None of the questions on their form in the resolution center were relevant to the ebay transaction, I had to select "other" on both of the questions because I had not shipped the games yet (immediately after the buyer sent payment, of course). So, I had to use a comment section to link them to the ebay transaction and explain that the buyer did in fact ask for the games. Weird.
"... If Sony reduced the price of the Playstation, Sega would have to follow suit in order to stay competitive, .... would then translate into huge losses for the company." p170 Revolutionaries at Sony.
"We ... put Sega out of the hardware business ..." Peter Dille senior vice president of marketing at Sony Computer Entertainment
"Sega tried to have similarly strict licensing agreements as Nintendo...The only reason it didn't take off was because EA..." TrekkiesUnite
I'm afraid it is.
Why don't you join me with a couple of random posts to throw-off the mood a bit.![]()
I'm not going to name any names, but some people around here can really be shitheads when the mood strikes them.
We kind of did, actually...
I started out making a post to poke a little fun at QuickScifi. Then I thought better of it and went for gusto with a little rewriting. It was a good day.
Thanks. We need more random posts in the sega-16 politics thread.
Tanegashima will enjoy reading that tonight, I think
