    Default Good Ps2 Rpgs?

Anyone have any good suggestions for Japanese Rpgs for the Ps2. I need to make a list. I have been so out of the loop on that system I have no idea what is good anymore. So far all I know is that FFX is great and the load times on Shinning Tears pisses me off.

I really like Atlus's stuff. Persona 3, Devil Summoner, and Nocturne are all great. I didn't like Digital Devil Saga as much.

Front Mission 4 is great, and just about the only SquareEnix game for the system I enjoyed.

Grandia II sucks on PS2. Get the Dreamcast version.

I am actually playing it right now. Thanks for all of the suggestions. I keep seeing Ps2 rpgs for cheap around. I would just prefer to not buy crap.

    PS2 has awesome RPGs...

    Suikoden 5 is good.
    Dragon Quest VIII to.
    And Star Ocean 3.
Final Fantasy X is excellent imho, but many disagree.
Final Fantasy XII is good if you like it 90% battle, 10% story.
    Disgaea is great fun.

Avoid Phantasy Star Universe like the plague; it is advertised as a full-quality single player RPG, but in fact that mode is so tedious it pains me to play. You have AI-controlled partymembers, and you can neither adjust their behavior nor access their equipment or anything. You just walk from room to room (divided by doors or laser barriers) kill all enemies and the entrance to the next room opens. Even forests are deivided like rooms^^

acdc, Suikoden 5 is the second best part of the series after part 2; not comparable to the crap that was 3 and 4.

If you're looking for something a little more unique, I'd recommend Growlanser: Generations.
