Best. Flea. Market. Day. Ever.
I got:
World Series Baseball and Game Gear Cleaning Cart - $5
Phantasy Star IV, Shining Force II, and General Chaos $5
Sega Saturn, 2 controllers and cables - $35
Hogan's Alley - $3
World Class Track Meet - $3
Then I traded PS IV, Shining Force II, and General Chaos in at a game store near the flea market for $25 and got:
Virtua Fighter Kids - $9
I now have a Sega Saturn!!!! YAY! Now I just need to get some games for it (NiGHTS, Sonic Jam, Sonic 3D Blast, and Street Fighter Alphas basically) and I'm all set!
Note: Everything bought was loose btw.
Why the hell did you trade those three games for $25?

I wanted to get a Saturn game, and I already had General Chaos. Also, I really don't like RPGs, so I was just like what the hey. Sure it wasn't a good deal, but I don't really care to be honest. And I'm not a big fan of the eBay selling hassle, so I just went and traded them in. They had a lot to offer there too, so the next time I go there I'll probably pick up something really good.
Had you told me you been wanting to get a rid of them... I woulda paid handsomely, and have you ship them back to NY...![]()

A friend of mine, knowing my penchant for all things Sega, called me up yesterday to inform me that there were a bunch of Genesis (and what sounded like SMS games, too) at one of the many local thrift stores. I checked it out this morning, and they had quite the little selection. I ended up grabbing:
Flashback: The Quest for Identity (Genesis), CIB - $3
Wonder Boy in Monster Land (SMS), Boxed without manual - $3
The best part was that all of the Genesis/SMS games were marked at about 6 bucks, but they have weird half-off sales there based on what color tag a piece of merchandise has/what day of the week it is, so I got 'em for half that. They have quite a few other games I'm interested in so I'll definitely be making a return trip soon.
